For those struggling to just get out of bed and face the day:  “Going in one more round when you don’t think you can.  That’s what makes all the difference in your life.”

When you consistently doubt yourself and the power and strength you have within you: “Until you start believing in yourself, you ain’t gonna have a life.”

When you relapse back into bad habits or negative thoughts:  “Every champion was once a contender who refused to give up.”

When you feel unworthy or not good enough:  “Now, if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth.  But, you gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody.  Cowards do that and that ain’t you. You’re better than that!

When you feel lost and trapped in your own negative thoughts, claw your way, fighting, kicking and screaming to the positive side:  “Remember, the mind is your best muscle. Big arms can move rocks, but big words can move mountains.”

When you feel trapped:  “Ya know, they say if you live in one place long enough, you are that place.”  This is a both a physical location and a mental one.  If you chronically have negative thoughts, you will become negative.  If you think you aren’t worthy, that will manifest into your life, etc.

When you are struggling with any addiction, adversity, challenge:  “To beat me, he’s (it’s) going to have to kill me.  He’s (it’s) gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me and to do that, he’s (it’s) got to be willing to die himself.”

When you want to overcome that which wears you down:  “I believe there’s an inner power that makes winners and losers.  And the winners are the ones who really listen to the truth of their hearts.”   And, “If this is something you wanna do, and if it’s something you gotta do, then YOU DO IT. FIGHTERS FIGHT!”  This is what I always speak about–being raw, hitting your rock bottom only to rise up by embracing your vulnerability to rid yourself of the demons and live your gloriously true, authentic self.

When you make the decision to live for yourself first:  “I stopped thinking the way other people think a long time ago.  You gotta think like YOU think.”  Do not continue to follow those that lead you down the wrong path, who use you, who manipulate and control your every thought, word and deed.  This is your life that must be lived on your terms!

When you are just plain tired of simply existing and not living in peace and happiness…you must dig deep and pull out that courage, lower your pride, seek the help and support you need and fight! Damnit you have to fight!  No, life isn’t always fair and sometimes we get dealt a few bum hands; but it’s in how you play those hands.  You fold on the negative and bid on the good. You are worthy, you are valuable, people need you. You own your story, you are the author and you can choose a happy ending.  You persevere, you rise, you inspire, you win!

“Let me tell you something you already know.  The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows.  It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there if you let it.  You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life.  But it ain’t about how hard ya hit.  It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.  How much you can take and keep moving forward.  That’s how winning is done!”

“…if your willing to go through all of the battling you got to go through to get where you want to get, who’s got the right to stop you? I mean maybe some of you guys got something you never finished, something you really want to do, something you never said to someone, something…and your told no, even after you paid your dues? Who has the right to tell you that, who?  Nobody!  It’s your right to listen to your gut, it ain’t nobody’s right to say no after you earned the right to be where you want to be and do what you want to do.”

Don’t let the naysayers, the wannabes, the haters drag you down.  You fight, you heal, you inspire, you overcome, you live!
