How often have we heard this:  perception is reality? And oh, by the way, how self-limiting is this phrase?  I originally published this on August 21, 2016.  Sometimes, a little reminder is necessary to keep us  focused.  There are always multiple ways of looking at things.  We should never be afraid to shift our perspective and at least consider other possibilities.

It’s crucial to our mental, emotional and physical well being that we learn to step back and look at all of the things around us (fear, trepidation, guilt, shame, etc.) with a different point of view.

Imagine for a minute that by having less stress, less worry, less fear and anger, our positive energy will expand and happiness naturally flows into us. All this can be possible by shifting our perspectives just a bit!

Perceptions are influenced by needs, wants, judgmental behavior, ignorance, personal values and the like, but it is possible to expand our ways of thinking to bring positive and influential change.

It’s not necessarily going to be easy, but I would rather work to have an enlightened mind than one that is limited or closed. I choose to expand my view of the world by having more options in how I perceive all that surrounds me.

I hope you will continue to join me on the path to seeking abundant positivity, peace, light and joy by opening our hearts, minds and souls every day!
